HAZE screened at Virginia Film Festival

HAZE was presented as part of the 24th annual Virginia Film Festival, presented by the University of Virginia. A panel discussion on the topic of hazing and alcohol abuse following the film included Leslie and Michael Lanahan, HAZE director Pete Schuermann, U.Va. Dean of Students Allen Groves, Gordie Center Director Susie Bruce, and U.Va. student leaders.

HAZE the movie

HAZE is a feature-length documentary produced by The Gordie Foundation that sheds light on the dangerous trend of excess and irresponsibility with alcohol on college campuses. The film also provides graphic detail about the culture surrounding hazing that led to the death of 18 year-old freshman Gordie Bailey at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2004.
